Curbside Monitoring

Easy curbside drop-off and pick-up at an airport can create a positive impression for the beginning and end of a traveler’s trip. But increasing numbers of flyers and Uber, Lyft, and other TNCs crowding the curb makes it more difficult than ever to prevent delays and plan appropriately.

Plot’s curbside monitoring system captures vehicle and people movement data. AI-based software finds patterns and provides suggestions for preventing incidents.

WE USE ADVANCED OBJECT RECOGNITION SENSORS TO CAPTURE EVENTS AS THEY UNFOLD IN REAL TIME

Curbside analytics include count and dwell time of both vehicles and pedestrians in each specific area of interest. Common uses are for tracking TNC pick-ups and drop-offs and capturing incorrect procedures. Our built-in alerts tool is configurable to send ground staff real-time notifications of incidents.

This system is designed to be flexible for a variety of outdoor conditions. The sensors use an LTE connection to transmit data, so there are zero networking requirements.

Airline Check-in Efficiency (ACE)

The ACE platform is our best example of how we use data to provide an organized view of the activity in an area. We capture the entire check-in experience, from queuing to interacting with staff or kiosks, to departing to the security checkpoint.

However, the real-time optimization suggestions are what make ACE truly valuable. Staff set goals for a variety of performance metrics and know instantly when those goals are not being met.

ACE captures everything in the ticketing lobby and provides real-time recommendations so staff can focus on serving customers

Check-in queues can be an unexpected bottleneck for travelers — especially for families, the handicapped/disabled, and large groups. The high-precision sensors used in ACE constantly capture data about how long people are queuing, how long it takes for them to be serviced, when incidents occur that are out of the ordinary, and more.

We use artificial intelligence to instantly review incoming data, detect patterns, and generate suggestions to airline staff about how to reduce IROPs.

Before developing our security checkpoint monitoring system, we asked airport operators about their priorities and investigated the value of wait time data. We knew that our system needed to be low-impact, quick to install, and flexible enough to handle a wide variety of facility design challenges. Plus, the data needed to be understood at a glance through a simple dashboard and alerts system.

In response, we designed a reliable, low-cost system that can be installed overnight. Then our software uses artificial intelligence to set expectations for travelers and staff about how busy each checkpoint will be at any given day and time.
